"The house was exactly as advertised. The check in process was smooth, it was stocked with all utensils needed to cook for a good size group, the rooms were comfortable. The only sight issue was one of the couches is starting to sag. This was a great home."

"Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay and had plenty of space! The house was just as listed and had all amenities! We only brought clothes and grabbed a few groceries once we got there. It’s such a peaceful place thats not far from Beech Mountain restaurants and grocery. We had lots of snow when we arrived, which made our trip even more fun! Thank you for the stay! We will keep this place in mind for our next trip to Banner Elk! "

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and well-equipped with everything we needed, from pots and pans to a coffee maker and other kitchen essentials. The fireplace was definitely the highlight of our stay, creating a cozy atmosphere, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a Christmas tree set up—it added a special holiday touch! "Great property amenities and location."

"A beautiful home in a nice and quiet neighborhood. There was debris that took up 2 of the 4 parking spots, but that was expected with the damage from Helena. We were still able to park 4 vehicles, it was just a little tight. There is a large table in the dining area, so the table in the kitchen made up for there not being a lot of counter space. Highly recommend this home. "

"We loved our weekend at the Berne Chalet. Beautiful surroundings, fresh ground coffee, and bakery perks. What more do you need? Maybe a huge TV screen, jigsaw puzzles, vintage vinyl records, and comfy beds? And a bear sighting! Yes please!"

"I love every second that we stayed here. Everything checks our ideal vacation. Quiet, secluded w/ a beautiful view. Our older dog is non aggressive reactive so every year I try to find us a secluded place where he could enjoy too. This is definitely the top of the most beautiful place we’ve ever stay. Made my birthday/ family trip extra special. Ms Karen was a great host! Will definitely stay here again.. "
