"The gym and club were fabulous, and the hotel historic. The sparkling wine at 5 PM was fun. My room was beautifully appointed and if you only used it at night would have been nice. However it was like a cave during the day with only a small skylight like window in the slanted ceiling. The room was so very dark during the day. The bathroom had a great window- but it was the bathroom! They should only use this room if it is heavily discounted or free. "

"Booked this when my original VRBO got cancelled. The property manager’s communication was not good. Nightmare checking in. There is a lock box on the side of the house. There is no mention of this with the checkin instructions. It was dark and cold when I arrived. Thank god for phone flashlights and a previous renter’s review that helped me know to look there.
