A REMARKABLE VIEW

Of the many day walks on offer around the Queenstown Region the walk along the One Mile track veering along the western trails eventually open up to some of the most epic views over Queenstown toward The Remarkables.

The walk takes about 2hrs return and well worth the hike as the reward up top is superb.

Hint : You know you’re on the right path if toward the top of the clearing you look back onto the more well known Ben Lomond track.

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience overall! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the stay. The highlight of my visit was the breathtaking lake view from the room—absolutely stunning and a true retreat for the senses. The rooms themselves were comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind. However, the early morning noise from the trash collection slightly disrupted the tranquility. The hotel’s restaurant also deserves a mention. Both breakfast and dinner were delightful, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes.
