"I can not imagine that there is a hotel better located in Beijing. Staying right in the middle of the hutongs, this hotel had amazing historical character, lovely staff, breakfast and afternoon tea included, and a free laundry service. Needless to say I will gladly be back next time I’m in Beijing "

"The property is older but full of great charm. Staff is friendly and absolutely accommodating. Construction was going on at the street but didn’t impact our ability to get around. Would definitely stay again! So close to Forbidden City and Wangfujing. There is a reason they are so highly rated!!!"

"Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Not to mention the variety of breakfast was huge. One day I was late for breakfast and they are already serving lunch, I asked for a togo coffee and they gave it to me free. The area it located has multiple other big hotels too and it makes me feel safe even i was out till mid night. "

"We stayed this hotel for two nights in the hot summer and worried it’s AC and noises. However, everything was cool. The staff were so friendly, they were willing to help us whenever they could. Particularly thanks to Winnie and all the receptionists, they’re professional and warm. The food in the restaurant was adequate and tasty. There are plenty eateries nearby. We had great experience there."

"The hotel is located in a busy street with lots of shops and eateries around, making it convenient to shop for souvenirs. There is a Starbucks and a restaurant in the same building. The subway is within walking distance, at the other end of the shopping street. To get to the hotel from the airport, you can take a taxi and alight at Nanluoguxiang North exit. Our room was clean. The air conditioner is centrally controlled and may be warm at times since it was set at heater mode in March regardless of the weather for the day. Not sure what’s the reason, but there may be a weird sewage smell from the toilet at times. Other than that, the room is well equipped with good supply drinking water, snacks, and toiletries What makes this property stand out would be the extremely warm service. We arrived at the hotel on a snowy day and were quickly welcomed with towels to dry ourselves and our luggage and warm cups of tea. The staff were cheerful, always ready to help with reservations of tourist attractions. They deserve the 5 stars rating!"

"The hotel is perfect for both business and family travelers for its locatiom, amenities, etc., but for the best stay, contact CECILIA, the hotel concierge, before departing for the hotel bc she IS FANTASTIC (!!!) and really made all of the difference in our stay. She will arrange all of your transportation to/from the airpot and hotel, suggest and arrange any activities, make resrvations to restaurants and venues, and ensure every facet of your stay is perfect. The hotel pool is unbelievable and not to be missed, even if just to walk down to see it, the gym and lockers are clean, and the spa and massage staff incredibly accommodating. Bathing suits can be purchased but even just sitting poolside is worth a visit."

"Highly recommend this hotel as the front desk staff were super helpful. As we did not get the local contact number, booking of places and dinner reservation were kind of difficult where the staff (did not managed to get the name) went thru the whole trouble to help us. It is also super near to 王府井 shopping street where the popular shopping (like Nike, Adidas as well as branded brand) can be seen and found there. It is also walking distance to 故宫 and 前门大街. Do take note when getting Didi as their sister hotel 天伦皇朝 is just next to it where driver will mistaken both hotel. This hotel Chinese name is 天伦松鹤大酒店. "

"Nice for hanging out and walking around for shopping and visiting museums. Not far from Beijing capital international airport. Very convenient for travel to different locations. Nearby subway stations. Only thing is room not that big but still good for two people have good time there. Good breakfast. West food and local style. "
