"A perfect little gem of a hotel right in the centre of the hutongs. Very clean and welcoming with superb service from their staff (who speak English). The hotel is like a little museum to Chinese shadow art with so much information, examples and a library. An added bonus was the actual shadow art performance and demonstration by the puppeteer. "

"I stayed here with my son for 9 nights. This hotel is very glamorous. We stayed in a twin elite room which included breakfast. Breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of food and set us up well for the day. Staff were really friendly and helpful - ordering taxis when required, advising on restaurants, etc. The hotel is central for tourist attractions and shopping. We loved our stay here and hope to come back. Thank you ☺️ "

There are a number of local eateries nearby e.g. there's a comfortable Nan Cheng Xiang outlet just across the hotel where we had cheap and good local breakfast (opens 6am), so we didn't need to hv hotel breakfast at all. Hotel concierge Eric gave great service and arranged tours for us. We communicated via WeChat before arrival and he booked entrance and train tickets for us, and we only pay him after we arrive . Wow! The only complain we have is...
