"We really enjoyed our stay here. There is a lovely fenced in spot for a dog, and the gazebo has great views. The space is very tiny! Also -- if you are planning on cooking please note -- if you want to do more than microwave or crockpot you must cook on the bbq. "

"Wendy’s lake cottage was a great place to stay near Bass Lake for our travels to Yosemite National Park. The location is just a short drive to the South Gate of the park and about an hour to Yosemite Valley. It was the perfect location to first spend a day at the Mariposa Grove and the next to drive into the valley itself. The hot tub was a fantastic reprieve after a long day of hiking and the bed in the primary room was one of the most comfortable we’ve had during our rental house...

"This rental is handled by Bass Lake Home Rental. They are totally incompetent and between them and Vrbo I was over charged compared to the reservation confirmation and endless finger pointing between the two and my credit card to resolve the overcharges. They still overcharged twice for the cleaning fee. Worst yet I haven't received a refund of my security deposit. The property is very dated from the 1950's with a creepy décor of scary clown painting and haunted old doll collection. Upon entry...
