"This is the place to stay when in Salvador. The hotel has comdortable beds, excellent breakfast buffet and tasty menu for other meals. A small pool on the ground floor deck which looks out onto the street and beach (perfect for viewing Carnaval). Almost every amenity you could need is within walking distance, including a mall. A short, easy Uber ride to other attractions in Salvador. I look forward to staying here during non-Carnaval time"

"The hotel is dated, in poor repair. Only one of the two elevators was working. The room had nothing in it, no cups, soap, etc. completely bare except bedding and towels. The safe was missing its door. View was of construction."

"No surprise this was one of the only places with vacancies left for a late decision to attend Carnival. I pre-requested an early check-in for an overnight flight. Not only was that not granted but my room was not even ready by the stated 2pm check-in with me sitting in the lobby 2.5 hours practically begging. No guests allowed in the hotel during Carnival.
