"Great for ski-in-out. Decent size room, robes,etc. Room lacked adequate lighting and had NO mirrors except the dark bathroom. Breakfast was good but items in the buffet were not replenished. The head waiter was too prominent in constantly berating his staff. One night we told there were no tables when obviously there were plenty. Shower had good water pressure and ample room."

"Overall fantastic - views are second to none. The hiking around the area is unreal and it’s great to be there before the first train and tourists descend. Dinner was amazing and servers were extremely attentive. Only feedback is that for the price they could have proper coffee machines in the room! Small thing but in other cheaper hotels there were real coffee machines whereas this was cheap sachets… with nothing else around it would be nice to have a proper coffee. Everything else was amazing...

"Our experience was excellent from start till end! Staff were all so friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. They seemed to enjoy being there and brought a good vibe to the place. The rooms and bathroom were beautiful and spacious even for the standard rooms. Wellness and dining spaces were also stunning and with perfect views of the Matterhorn. This was definitely one of the best stays of our lives. We hope to be back again!! "

"My son and I had an amazing 19 days at the hotel and every day was perfect. The staff took such good care of us. They were all very friendly and helpful and fun. The room was exceptional. "Hotel Firefly was one of the most perfect hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in, truly! Upon arrival the front desk walked us around the property showing us the complimentary spa area which we used each day to warm up in the evenings. Our bags were in our room when we arrived and the room even had a small kitchen so we could make a couple meals which was nice since we were almost two weeks into our vacation upon arrival. "A lovely, comfortable hotel within very easy walking distance of lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Less than 10 minutes walk from the rail station. We had a wonderful room with a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was good - lots of choice (continental breakfast) and dining room never felt over crowded.
