"This house was perfect for us - my son and his wife had the upstairs and my husband and I had the downstairs. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was comfortable, which was great as my back had been having a hard time with the hard beds where we'd stayed before this house."

"We loved our stay here. The location was convenient; the room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was tasty; and most of all, the hosts were amazingly hospitable. Due to our original flight being canceled, we checked in later in the day than we anticipated, and the host was gracious and understanding. We also forgot to bring a power converter (we traveled from the U.S.), and the hosts let us borrow theirs until we were able to buy one locally. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"Stayed at Highland Hotel. Breakfast good, full range of food and on a par with most hotels. Rooms bit dated but clean and tidy. Pool joined on to this hotel and is excellent. Caters for all ages.We were hesitant after reading reviews on this hotel but don’t let them put you off. Not a 5* but good central base for exploring the area. "
