Lovely property, extremely clean and warm and very well equipped. We wanted a peaceful location and it was perfect! Lots of local information and a great property manual. Thank you for everything and making our stay just what we needed! We'll be back for sure!
Very convenient to Aviemore Railway and centre. Clean, warm and comfortable little house. Everything we needed was there - was aware of taking towels and tea towels. Very peaceful position with glorious view of mountains. Had a lovely stay.
The property could do with a bit of TLC both inside and out.
Cobwebs on wooden entrance panels and weeds outside. Would benefit from a fence to enclose the back garden (dog friendly). Internal doors scuff on wooden floors and this is ruining them. Would benefit from a few ornaments to make if more homely. The sofa and chairs are quite old and very low. The location was ideal for access to the town centre and nearby walks.
Great bungalow in an excellent area. Less than 10minute walk to Aviemore Main Street.
Train track runs at bottom of garden so any train lovers will enjoy.
Great walks literally on your door step .
Easy access for getting around Cairngorms.
Basic with no extras. We liked the location and the bath. The shower was useless - it either burned or scalded you. No towels are provided. Some decent kitchen knives would have been useful.
What a little gem this property turned out to be, it is situated just 15mins walk out of Avimore and in a quite cul-de-sac. The bungalow was clean and well appointed with everything you could need. The bungalow was very cosy and warm with a nice kitchen and bathroom, we were skiing for a couple of days so the location was perfect. I would have no reservations in hiring this property again or recommending this to a couple or small family.
Only think I could grumble about is the shower, pressure isn't great at all and the shower head is quite loose, rest of the bungalow was basic but ideal for us especially at the price we paid, would stay again
Have been to Aviemore many times in the winter last year we spent a few days there with my daughter who was on holiday from New Zealand so decided to book this year we were not disappointed as the weather was great and accommodation suited us as we could walk to the centre in 15mins we had ever we needed although i was wishing I had brought my chairs for sitting out in the sun we will definitely be thing of booking for next year We had everything we needed as we brought our own towels that wasn’t a problem thank you
A lovely cosy property in a great location near Aviemore centre. The kitchen was well equiped, good storage in the house and there were comfy beds and nice crisp bed linens. Our only critism was no towels (although we knew this after booking). No tea towel either (didn't expect this), and no non slip mat or rail to use with the overbath shower (it was quite slippy). Also no bath mat for the cold bathroom floor. However we had a lovely stay here and we were very comfortable.
This is a lovely wee granny flat within walking distance of everything in Aviemore. Lots of gentle walks nearby with Speyside footpaths just a quarter mile away. The Speyside steam train goes past the bottom of the yard too which is a plus. Warm and comfortable. Basic but adequately equipped. Be aware the owner does not supply towels nor toiletries (including toliet rolls) so bring your own). Having NOW TV (including Sky Sports) and Netflix available in the house is a bonus too if you have your own subscription to sign into.
The booking process, prior communication and info along with the check-in process was very smooth, simple & problem free.
The location was ideal, close enough to walk to the main street or head off into the country for walks.
The property itself was good but could benefit from blackout blinds in the bedrooms as it was daylight till late at night & before 5am so had difficulty getting our children to sleep and to remain asleep till a reasonable time.
We spent most of our time outside doing water activities and whilst there was a whirly gig we were eventually able to use after detangling and restringing an outside tap & hose would be great for rinsing our boat, wetsuits, dog etc..
The garden to the rear is very basic and stone covered not ideal for children to play out in or fornthe dog it served its purpose but a gate/fence to the side would've made the difference as we could've let our children & dog out the back with out having to remain out with them.
Thank-you for the use, it was a good basic base and let us have a short break away.
Beds and sofa were comfy. TV and wi fi worked well. Kitchen well equipped.Easy access via pin code entry.Excellent communication from host. Easy walk into town. Only negative is shower water pressure
Nice, tidy little property, well situated and a nice walk into town.
My first time in Aviemore and I was impressed with all it had to offer
Rental was fairly basic, but served us well.
Would have been nice to have had some basic welcome pack, teabags, coffee etc, but plenty of shops nearby
This was our first stay at this holiday let in Aviemore.
When we walked into the property it was really hot and stuffy and we found it very basic with absolutely no frills at all.
Saying that we did find it very comfortable, especially the bed and we had really good nights sleep and a very enjoyable stay.
Would definitely stay here again.
House in excellent quiet location. Walking to shops etc 15mins. Beds really good. Two things shower needs new hose. And house needs a good cleaner. So not much required.
Was really clean and kept in a good order. Shower a bit tired needs replacing, other than that all well. Located in residential area, so no parties I assume, good reach to the Main Street. Only recommendation would be to bring a dream catcher house is a wee bit haunted in my opinion.
