"A great location, wonderful staff, very good breakfast. Only negative is that the room was configured a bit awkwardly—a very large bathroom created by glass partitioning made for tight quarters elsewhere. But as problems go, that is about a 2 on a scale of 10. This is a beautiful, historic building (as you will learn), right by the Plaza Mayor. Highly recommended "

"The hotel was in a superb location, within walking distance of what we wanted to visit. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Irene who worked in the bar/restaurant. Although we didn't use the restaurant, the bar prices were very reasonable for a hotel. Disappointed that the roof terrace was not open. Bed was large and very comfortable, bathroom was clean and modern. On the whole a very good stay."

"Very centrally located which made exploring Madrid very easy, the staff were lovely and really helpful, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. Always very clean as well. Only issue was that it wasn't as social as it was made oit to be, but this wasn't helped by the poor weather meaning the rooftop was essentially out of action. The mixed shared dorm being on the street rather than in the building meant that we had some disturbances from passers by making noise late...
