"Overall a very good stay in Madrid at the Petit Palace Plaza Mayor. The hotel location is superb. It is right across the road from the Mercado de San Miguel, famous for its great tapas and food hall in general, as well as being less than 100 metres from the Plaza Mayor. The Plaza del Sol is also a few minutes walk away. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but chose to soak up the Madrid lifestyle by having breakfast in a local cake bakery with tables inside, which was very traditional and...
