"This villa offers everything you could desire. Beauty, comfort, atmosphere, luxury, art, birds and lovely garden. Pool and hot tub ensure relaxation and exercise. Elias as the caretaker and contact was perfect. Plan on a few days at the Villa without traveling everyday. Would recommend seeing Poás volcano and a trip to the beach at Jaco. Both very easy in a day trip. Many very good places to eat in the town of Atenas. "

"The pros: this is a gorgeous house in a lovely location. The cons: the house is not great for big groups, and the host is an extremely poor communicator. The bedroom walls do not reach the ceilings, so no bedroom has any real privacy. If someone so much as coughs, you'll hear it. If your group has someone who snores, or a baby who cries, or even people who like to stay up late talking, you'll have trouble sleeping here. As a group of 11, we thought we’d have plenty of sleeping space in this...
