"One night stag as a couple, really nice hotel, friendly staff and the lobby and restaurant were top quality. Room looks like it’s seen better days, some light switches were wonky, some light didn’t work at all, old-school radiator rather than a thermostat control. A tv you can stream from your phone would be better (things like ‘chrome cast’ are becoming standard in similar hotels in the uk) "

"We loved our stay at the Moxy. Our rooms were super clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The lounge downstairs was incredible and we found ourselves hanging out down there instead of our rooms. We loved it so much I looked to see if London has similar places. "Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York."
