"Simple check in. Room was exceptionally Clean and very spacious. Good selection of hot drinks and bottled water in room. Very large TV with good selection of channels. Parking is on street and free at weekend, quite narrow street and cars each side but found a place OK near the hotel. 10 min walk to town centre. No food at hotel but was recommended breakfast at the Ascot which they booked for us and is100m away, and excellent quality for £15 each."

"the pub is very popular & friendly serving a good a varied menu, we had both lunch & dinner there, the staff are very friendly & helpful . our room was pleasingly decorated clean & comfortable with plenty of storage. only draw back was the shower could do with having a equalizing pressure valve & the macerator was noisy during the night. & please note there is no breakfast served ."

Breakfast was fantastic, selection of fruit,cereals yoghurt etc. and a full English. Limited amount of parking available which was a great bonus. "The property offered good value for money, was 5 minutes walk from the Minster and city centre. Parking was free outside the place and the staff were attentive and polite. The carpet in our room had a few coffee stains by each bedside table, the bed was very comfy though and the room was quiet. We would definitely book to come again. The dining room could benefit from some music at breakfast time to break the silence. And maybe some plug-ins to freshen up the hallway. Apart from that, it was...
