"Booked for latish airport arrival. Friendly welcome at reception and bar and good parking. Room was large and comfortable but mattresses were soft and had perhaps seen better days. Whole hotel was cosy and warm for a winter stay. Breakfast was excellent, good choices and friendly service again with an added view of the lake and surroundings. Would definitely stay again."

"The entrance and lounge area are impressive and have a grand feel to it. The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly and checking in was easy. We had booked a double room which was on the second floor at the front of the hotel. We found the room to be quite noisy as it faced the road outside.
