"Very convenient for our trip to the local hospital and very reasonable price including breakfast. A warm welcome at reception on check-in. Nice large room with comfortable big bed. You can open the windows to let in fresh air - not always possible these days at some hotels. We loved that it was over the pub/restaurant (a good menu plus specials and what we had was cooked really well) yet the pub couldn’t be heard from the room. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals etc and cooked options....

"Good room, bfast options good, anemic sausages only down side. Bfast timings could be earlier than 7am due to location and requirement to drive to place of work."

"Staff were amazing. Very welcoming and friendly. The room was dark and there was a noisy generator outside that switched on and off. I was offered another room the next morning. Food was good as was the service. "

"Pre Christmas stay to meet family half way. Room was fine, but no hooks to hang coats up. Bar and restaurant service was good, even though it was very busy with Christmas works meals. Shout out to our waiter Toby for the excellent service."
