Cosy room, includes all the necessities (toilet shower soap towels). Easy self check-in, info sent an hour before check-in!
Happy with the place thank you!
This property was very cheap I saw the reviews and was a bit apprehensive but the room was spacious clean and easy to get to cruise terminals and shops we got a taxi was only £5.50
Arrival at the guesthouse was easy and access was great we had a code sent no keys to worry about room was ready early so we had early access
Yes you can get better rooms with dorma bedding plush carpets and amazing bathrooms but it’s Southampton it’s the main city for cruises and rooms and hotels are expensive
For what we paid I was happy and it was clean
Maggie was very nice and chatted and made us feel welcome I would definitely stay again when going on a cruise
Our room was pretty good, but as we walked in we met someone leaving who refused to stay because of the condition of his room - he wished us luck. Communication was terrible - 4 tries to find out how to get into the building/room - hint to everyone - you will get the info about 1 hour before you arrive at the place on Whatsapp. That is ok if they would only say that. We were ignored for a week-they could have just said that first time and all would be fine.

Room was fairly big. Had an en-suite bathroom but the property could do with being updated / having a re-paint

Liked: Cleanliness
Clear access instructions made getting to my room simple. Facility is staffless so any support needed just give them a call.
The room was dirty the bathroom was mouldy. (Lack mould around shower. The bed must be at least 20 years old as you could feel every springing . We both had to sleep on the to of the covers to add a little bit of padding . This was too protect us incase you he springs came through. The carpet was so dirty we could not remove our shoes. I have photos if you would like to see them.
I only gave one star as there was no place to put no star.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The room was basic but clean with en-suite facilities. Access to the property is by key code, which was sent by WhatsApp after 3 pm the day of arrival. There was no direct contact with staff at or on the property.
Only good for a single night. Felt slightly unsafe in area. Put a chair against the door as main front door wouldn't close. People arguing outside throughout night. Busy road outside. So plenty of noise. Exposed areas inside room. Rubbish shower.
The room was basic as advertised. Entrance door is a number code as the room itself. A WhatsApp message sent on the day give the code numbers. Bed seemed ok. Kettle with tea and coffee. No TV in room. No cost hangers. At of drawers available. No mirror in the room. The shower pressure was really poor and it could not be used as normal shower had to use it much lower return so water came out. Property about 20 to 30 minute walk from main Southampton and train station.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Value for money. Shower clean but door doesn’t shut properly so difficult to use. No remote control for television, so had to put up with subtitles the whole stay and manually changing channels etc.
Not even a fan in the room, stifling hot still air. Lady walked into the room well after check in and had to use key to get in. Stagnant water in kettle. People who worked there were sat in the kitchen DIRECTLY below the room I was in and loudly spoke about how awful their job is woe is me and the owners are terrible until MIDNIGHT. Occasionally walking out back,(a door that led directly outside my window) to smoke and speak loudly. I couldn't close the window because it was insanely hot, so loud voices and smoke drifted up. Then they were back at it at 7:30 am sharp yelling and hollering. Terrible terrible place.
