"What a lovely hotel in a great location. All the sights are within minutes to walk. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants around the hotel. Would definitely stay again. The only negative was being charged a destination fee on checking out. What is a destination fee and why?"

"This family run hotel is a real find. We received absolutely fantastic service. The hotel is central, making walking Cusco easy. Our room was spotless and the bed was remarkably comfortable. Breakfast is a real treat. The food is freshly prepared each day. We often needed only a snack for lunch given the size of the breakfast. On one of our days we left for a day trip at 4:30 am. A healthy bag lunch was provided and as we walked out the door, the owner checked to make sure we had our passports, as we would need then while on our excursion. By the end of our four night stay our hosts seemed more like good friends. We highly recommend Casa Cruz Verde. "
