"I was offered a warm/tasty cookie at check in, and at that point they’d won me over. As someone that does not drink alcohol and most hotels only offer cocktails and champagne at check in so I found this delightful. "Stay was amazing. Responding to Hotels.com survey after check in I commented that my room was very noisy as it fronted a street along the canal. Within a short time the duty customer service manager ( Mickey) contacted me and offered me an excellent alternative room on a higher floor that also had double glazing so achieving huge noise reduction.
