"We had an extremely relaxing stay. The area is gorgeous…loved being close to the water. We brought our dog and it was great to let him run and play and just be a dog. Did have a few issues with a few appliances, but the host was super quick to bring a new remote and coffee pot. All in all we would stay again!"

We didn’t use the hot tub, but there was plenty of good space for adults, too. "Fantastic place to stay as home base for hiking in Shenandoah National Park. Quiet comfortable location, 20 minutes to Front Royal, 30 to Thornton Gap via Luray. Views from the porch were stunning. "We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was very clean, and the listing was completely accurate, which we really appreciated. Street parking was easy, making arrival and departure hassle-free. The home is perfect for a couple or even two couples, with a comfortable layout and plenty of space.One of the highlights was the great front and backyard, which our dog absolutely loved! "This was a great spot for a college reunion of 10 guys. We jump around from year to year, but are planning to come back here. We were all amazed at the construction of the main house and it's giant pine logs. (Suggestion: hire a professional photographer to represent the place better on this site.) We had plenty of space in the main house, but also used the tree house which was great as well. The kitchen had everything we needed and was spacious. "The owner communicated well and was very responsive. The fireplace stove was great and we used the hot tub every day. Kitchen was well stocked. We cooked almost every meal and had everything we needed. The office space is a nice, private, comfortable space, as well. "

"We loved our stay at this historic farmhouse in Culpeper. The location was perfect, halfway between Leesburg and Charlottesville and near central Virginia destinations. The listing and photos are accurate. Beds are very comfortable. First floor bedroom worked well for our family. Kitchen very well stocked, we even did some Christmas baking.
