"We stayed with our adult son and 2 dogs over Thanksgiving week. The house was very cool, had a great layout, comfortable furniture and well-equipped kitchen. On the down side, there was no heat in the bathrooms, the rain shower heads sprayed all over the place, the towels were more like blankets than towels (we went and purchased regular terry towels). The driveway is steep and would require 4-wheel drive in winter. We wanted to do some star gazing but there were so many outside lights...

"What a delightful break from the city. I spent 5 nights relaxing in the hot tub, watching the stars and reading. The cabin was clean and cozy. The staff on the mountain were very helpful and kind. I can't wait to come back and visit again. "

"We were in Culpepper for a family wedding. The reception was at the nearby country club, so the location was great. The kitchen was fully stocked, hot tub & grill worked great, loved ping pong table & fun things to do in the house. Enough room for everyone to space out & relax together. No ice maker so had to buy a bag of ice, but that was an easy solution!!!"

"The home was delightful! This older home was beautiful and lovingly cared for. It was well furnished and the kitchen was stocked with all that we needed. I loved the extra touches-blankets throughout the house, snacks, shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser and high quality toilet paper. We enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit and throwing frisbee on the large front lawn. We also enjoyed spending time at the river across the street. Whiteoak Canyon Falls was about 15 minutes away.
