If you are exploring Shenandoah National Park, this cabin is SO close. There is a shortcut to Hwy 211 via a gravel access road (Jewell Hollow Access Road) that saves a lot of time in getting to the park. You will find it on Google Maps. "We had an excellent time at this cabin. It’s well equipped with everything from kitchenware, to children’s games/toys, extra bedding, and an air mattress. The firepit and outdoor toys were much appreciated as well. The beds were comfortable and the house was well maintained. Would rent again!!!"

The kitchen was very modern and spacious. “Fully stocked kitchen” is usually an exaggeration but this kitchen had everything you could need like Tupperware, multiple cutting boards, croc pot and so on. "From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the cleanliness and the minimal nature of the cabin. The highlight was the gas fireplace that warms the entire cabin and the hot tub outside. Beds were very comfortable, linens provided along with plenty of towels. Kitchen fully stocked with utensils, plates, etc. Although wi-fi is a little slow, was able to stream shows on our iPad and AirPlay to the TV. "House was clean and comfortable. , basic amenities. Nice distance away from city for quietness. Was disappointed with fire pit by river, was looking for to using but all the cars were complete rot. Would have broken if you tried to sit on so we didn’t even go down there. "
