"We wanted something on the way to Cadillac Ranch without ending up in Amarillo only to turn around in the morning to come back to the attraction. This affordable motel is also adorably decorated, not in a generic way, so you get that Route 66 feel. Decorative appointments are subtle, and rooms are warmly lit. "Hotel was going through renovations. Was not made aware of this. Lots of construction equipment outside & inside. Strong smell of paint. Room was recently renovated but not quite all the way done. Good for the price. Service was friendly & personable. "
