"Nice hotel and comfy bef"

"Im just back from a 2 night stay and couldnt fault this place. Staff were lovely and always on hand to help. The pool/sauna is next door at the stables which was beautiful. Big pool was freezing and mainly for lane swimming but smaller pool was lovely and warm. Jacuzzi & whirlpool were great. Room was a basic/standard room and perfect for what I needed. Just a break away to recharge by myself. Food - the reviews were very mixed but I enjoyed it. Only had breakfast one morning as chose to lie in. It was fresh and plenty to choose from. Im a fussy eater and all was ok. Hot food and continental with fruit etc available. I did have a really nice steak burger for dinner one night in the lounge/bar area, which was comfortable whilst watching the tv and relaxing. Overall a lovely stay, and I would go back again. I do have pictures but cant seem to load them."

"Pleasant stay for 1 night business trip. Room clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet and evening meal were ok. Nothing special but reasonably priced. Gym was a bit small and basic but I was the only person in there from 7-8am so size was not a problem. "

"We stopped overnight to break up a long journey with young children. Location was ideal and staff were brilliant, i cant remember the mans name but he served us at the bar and at breakfast the next morning. Very professional, kind, friendly and helpful made my stay a pleasure even tho i hadd my hands full with the little once he was always happy to assist which even the smell things make a big difference to busy mums. Room waa very large and well equipped, beds were clean and comfy. Bathroom could have done with a couple of repairs but it is an old hotel and it was nothing major."
