"First thing we realised when we turned up was that you are not staying on a farm but in a characterful old farmhouse. You have to park on the road outside but it is off the main road and is very quiet. Jan, is a wonderful host, welcoming, friendly, and a really good cook. The breakfasts and the one evening meal we had were excellent - and better than the ones we had in the upmarket hotel we stayed in afterwards. If you like good food then consider staying here. The dining room is nice to eat...

"Patrick and his wife were very welcoming, the property is dated but comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. The surrounding area is a short walk away, with some nice pubs, restaurants (with gluten free options), shops and a Tesco etc... The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some comfy chairs or small sofa in the room as I personally struggle watching TV in bed, due to health issues, but other than that it was a pleasant stay."

"The apartment is spacious, warm, and comfortable. It's easy to find, in a good location, and the access instructions are clear and easy to follow. On-street parking is easy to find within a 5 minute walk. If half stars were an option we'd give it 4.5.
