"Driving up to the property on the mountain roads may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I absolutely loved it. Once there the staff was welcoming, property, unique, and beautiful, and the things to do in and around the property are very worthwhile."

"Great place, very clean, convenient. This was our second visit to Poshtel and we loved it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location location, closes to everything in town which we loved it since we didn’t have a car and walking in town was great. We will definitely go back! Thank You. "

"Overall a great place to stay! The showers in the room I stayed at were kind of weird and looked broken but for the price, I will take it any day. They have wonderful service and a guitar which I was able to play while I was not doing anything. I would totally recommend it. "

"the overall place and our room were under our expectations for this type of accommodation and value for the money, after having travelled for four months in south and central America. We were also surprised to be asked to move to the hotel next door for our second night and when we asked for the reason, we receive mixed messages. Not a overall pleasant experience "

"Great place to stay! Staff very knowledgeable of the area and willing to help. My room was very nice. Night winds were high so it was a bit loud. Nothing the hotel can change, just part of the area. Just something to be aware of in the area."

"Unit is very clean, in good, newer condition. Conveniently located but hard to find as it lacks prominent signage to indicate you're at the right place; and has no "front desk" to check in at when you arrive which is problematic as its just a house in the midst of many others. There is a bar/club nearby that goes til 2:30AM each night. Pack ear plugs. The A/C worked well. Good base of operations for visiting the stites. "

"Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). Rooms have secure key codes, and lockers are situated in the communal kitchen which is large, clean and well equipped. Everything was good. Would recommend."

"I wasn’t expecting much, needed a room to crash. But did not expect the room to be musty, sheets/pillow cases were musty and the pillows had black mould. We had to cut our stay down to one night due to these conditions. Pros. The breakfast was good with fresh cut fruit, granola, scrambled eggs w toast and coffee. Great way to start the day. "Absolutely loved this hotel! My 7 year old was obsessed with the waterslide and went down about 200 times. We stayed 4 nights. The property is gorgeous with a stunning view of the volcano. The hot springs were great. Swim up bar was fantastic. Staff at the hotel are all very nice. You can drive up to the view point. Highly recommend. We walked up which took about 50 minutes. Bring water and should be fit as it’s uphill. My son was able to do it. We would absolutely stay here again!! "

Great Stay .. Perfect Location

"Had a wonderful time at the Hotel Lomas Del Volcan. The locations was very central to hikes , waterfalls and thermal springs. Enjoyed watching the Monkeys right from the pool :) The breakfast in the was excellent and the view of the Volcano could not be beat! See pic. Staff was personable and helpful. Highly recommend."

"This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The staffs went above and beyond of us! The rooms were extremely clean amazing views. The staff helped booked all the tours for us with transportation included. I would come back in a heart beat! The can’t not recommend this place enough! Loved everything about Costa Rica and Lost Iguana. "
