"I have traveled in many countries and slept in numerous hostels around the world and this is one of my all time favourites. The owner is absolutely amazing and super helpful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The location is good and the dorm room was nice and clean. I recommend this place very much!"

"We were running late to check in. The website says they close at 9 pm. We arrived right at 9. No one was there. The next day, the front desk person said they close at 8, then retracted and said he waited until 9 pm. That was not the case. "What a great place to stay. We travelled with 2 adults and our 17 & 15 year old kids and everyone loved it, and were sad when it was tying to go. The only thing I would change is we stayed in the Monteverde house and the trees about the main suite hit the roof all night when it was windy, but not a big deal at all! Highly recommend!!"
