"Our family of 5 enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The raging river so close to our balcony was impressive after a few days of heavy rain. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and we had plenty of space for 5. A couple of minor issues being advertised washer/dryer was actually a paid laundry service and pillow menu did not exist when requested although advertised. "

"The apartment is in a good location, close to downtown, and is secure. Has AC in the 2 bedrooms. The price was great, beds comfortable, and great showers. It does not have a living area or iron, but does have a kitchen and dining area. Tvs in both rooms but no netfix. It was a bit loud in the early mornings, as I could hear a baby crying both days. But other than that, it was great. We would stay again. "

"Book Studio One now!!! What a cool place. The studio itself is very cool but the view is SPECTACULAR! Best view we saw in three full days in the area. El Castillo is a small town away from the bustle of La Fortuna with everything you need within walking distance. Kelly and Alejandra are great people and their La Ventanita Cafe is awesome. Best burger and beer I’ve had in CR. Stay here without regrets!!"

"This was a perfect place for us. It is clean, easily accessible with flexible check in. The kitchen is well equipt. Our only issue was the laundary use. The time you are allowed to use it is 4pm to 8pm, which was when we were out. That said, they were flexible with us and let us use it for an extra hour. "

"The mommot rooms are modern, updated and clean. The neighborhood in general was a bit loud for us, traffic noise and dogs barking. Once we were asleep, it was okay. "Spacious accommodations and friendly host. Host was responsive and very helpful. Beautiful views but in the Lake Arenal area, which is quite secluded. There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. It was a very pleasant stay, but not in the location listed."
