"A great choice for anyone visiting the Cotswolds as Lower Slaughter is a wonderful village and the hotel is in a perfect position. The only reason for it not making 5 stars was that the radiator in our room was not hot and we were there when it was particularly cold. Secondly, dinner was quite expensive and was not served as hot as you would expect. However staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Overall would recommed this hotel for a really comfortable stay in a great location."

"This is a very pleasant place. It is tastefully decorated and the bar offers a lovely space to grab a drink or a coffee at the end of the day. The breakfast area is elegant and overlooks the green back garden. My room was underground. It wasn’t dark but I could hear the cars that parked nearby and people walking on the road.
