"lovely little place to stay, central location within easy reach of the centre. We checked in on the last day of the Christmas markets which is a great time to visit Bath. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Especially loved the en-suite which had a roomy walk-in shower and heated floor. Could be a bit more eco friendly though, the bar of soap was changed daily, as were the single-use mini bottles of toiletries. "

"This was an overnight stay while working locally and this place was chosen for its location and the fact that it’s a pub as well. The room was nice but could do with some TLC but I was very comfortable. The bar area was a little cold but I soon warmed up with the lovely food that was on offer and the staff were really friendly and helpful which is why I would recommend this place to others thinking of staying here."

"From checking in at the bar you know that the quality of the room is going to be of a good standard as the pub itself is very nice modern but still classic feel of a country pub. Ate in the pub 1st night of the stay and food was a very standard and reasonably priced for the quality. Only slight negative we had was that although it’s in a quiet village a lot of traffic seems to come through it and can be heard in the accommodation. "Nice warm and clean room called Ashley. Comfy bed and nice touches like a jar with fresh baked cookies with the tea and coffee. Only issue was the Bathroom light was on a sensor which meant it went out when you were in the bath shower or on the toilet. Very good breakfast and evening meals although a bit limited in the number of meal choices. This meant we only ate on one evening as we did not fancy the other things on the menu"
