"My kids and I stayed here for one night as a bit of research now that we’ve moved into the area, so we can see which hotels to suggest to friends. The building is very impressive but it’s a bit too old school for me, and could do to modernise a bit. The bar area is very small and situated near the front door. The food in the restaurant was delicious but the service was a little slow. We switched rooms because the heating wasn’t working properly, but this was all done very quickly and efficiently...

"Oxford is beautiful because it is old but often that means the buildings have thin walls and difficult to heat. This new hotel is a welcome change - toasty and quiet. Ideal location for acess to major bus routes and the university. Lovely staff as well!"
