After our checkout, we had an hour until our transfer and made the mistake of sitting at the outside part of the bar. "We choose to visit Gran Canaria every year late January and stayed at this hotel for the first time for a change. The hotel is in excellent condition and offers all the luxuries you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The buffet breakfast and dinner offered lots of choice and overall was very satisfactory. My only niggle is our room with pool (202) like many others did not get sun on the terrace until around 1 in the afternoon, when it was too hot for us. We spent our time by the main pool, which is gorgeous and often we were the only ones there. But not using our own pool was disappointing. I would definitely go again but not pay for a private pool."
