"Excellent hotel and apartments, We stayed in the apartments on the hotel grounds this were to a very high standard with everything you needed. My daughter and myself enjoyed our stay in one of the 2 bedroom one's each room offering a super king size bed and ensuite, TV's in each room, comfortable lounge area and well equipped kitchen, the hotel bar and restaurant is only a short walk across the car park with a great choice of lunch and evening meals available. "Storrs Guest house was clean & comfortable. The owners were very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much for them. They were knowledgeable on places to see. The breakfast was excellent - sets you up for the day. I would recommend Storrs Guest house & it was only a 10 minute walk into Bowness which offered some amazing friendly pubs & the food was good, enjoyed the Sunday roast in the Flying Pig very good food."

"I expected to be able to have a meal as the details indicated a restaurant but there was no evening food available. As they had few guests they also closed the bar at 7.30 pm. Odd as when I booked it indicated that there was limited availability. The hotel is pretty basic. The room was clean though and decent breakfast. This has slightly dented my trust in the accuracy of details provided on Expedia. I had been travelling around the north of England and this was the least value for money."
