"Grateful to the Greystoke for stepping in at the last minute after a previous booking elsewhere was cancelled. A quiet location but close enough for walking into the town. No problems booking in or during the 3 days stay. Beware of the big breakfasts - you may not want to move afterwards - but they set you up nicely for the day of exploring the area. A great view from the street on a crisp sunny day."

There were towels and games and WiFi was steady. However, kettle was black inside, no toilet rolls, some plastic cups with white marks and management company was closed after keys picking. "The staff, the food at both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Parking is just across a quiet road. Our room however left us literally cold. Old building, 'wavy' floors, single glazed casement windows facing the prevailing - brisk - wind and an outside temperature of close to freezing. Then the heating gets switched off for the night ! Considering that this was the most expensive 'one nighter' on our recent trip, we were less than satisfied."
