"Hotel was nice although the pool was cold and the steam room wasn't working. My room was ground floor and as a solo female traveller, I would've preferred a room on 1st floor or above but it was clean and an ok size for one person. Food was great, very good selection for breakfast and all cooked fresh. Good, walkable distance from town with good public transport links to other areas. "

"Beautiful property in a beautiful environment! Rooms well equipped and bathrooms very modern with high end toiletries. Restaurant excellent and Dan, the host and waiter was wonderful! Very attentive, friendly, appropriately humorous and very professional. The food was all excellent. We only stayed for 1 night but will definitely go back when we can. Would highly recommend!!"

"The staff were extremely friendly, and the room was acceptable with a good shower. The breakfasts were basic, and the dinners were pub style but adequate. The area is right in the countryside and the historic village church is well worth a visit"
