"Really good location for exploring Keswick and the area. Close to town centre, rooms clean and fairly spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food really good quality and with some vegetarian options. Drinks from the bar not too expensive. The only downside is some of the hotel looks somewhat "tired" and could do with upgrading. All in all, a really nice place to have a break."

"My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping. The breakfasts are fantastic and certainly worth the indulgence. It’s located in a lovely village, with breweries, pubs, tea rooms and local craft shops. I highly recommend a stay. "

"This was my first time in the lake. The Hotel was in a great location loads to do ideal if you struggle walking up hills. It was clean and comfortable and car park access was good. They had a kettle with coffee and tea which is always nice. The people who owned it were lovely and the price was fantastic. "
