"We arrive a bit early, 1415 hours to be exact. When we went into the front desk area we were told that we were a bit early for check in. I didn’t mind that as I knew. We were early, but I did not feel welcomed. That being said, every other staff member we spoke to was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed speaking to the staff during breakfast and supper. "A beautiful inn, stunning setting. Room more than adequate but needed a little "TLC" - paintwork chipped in places, couple of cobwebs (soon removed), lighting very poor but possibly because of low-wattage light bulbs. Beds extremely comfortable, lovely bed-linen. Unfortunately, due to a sudden (very) cold snap in the weather, the room was quite cold and the radiator insufficient to warm the large room and sitting area. The staff quickly rectified this by providing a mobile heater. Good evening...
