"We love this Villa. Staff are always accommodating. Easy access for washing, shops, scooter hire, warongs. Only thing we dont like is how hot the pool is. "

"I really liked that the resort was tucked away in a quiet area. The villa was nice, it was super relaxing to sit in the outdoor area of the villa. It felt like an outdoor living room. The food was great. The staff was super friendly and nice. Very relaxing experience. "

"We stayed in Villa Kayu (4 bed) - it was stunning! The pool was amazing, we liked that each of the rooms was a little separate so that we had plenty of privacy if we wanted it. The food in the villa was superb and the staff friendly and attentive. The massage services were great, the decor and layout super. The beds were super comfy and the mosquito curtains all in really good condition. We'd definitely stay here again!"

"The property and WOTIF falsely advertise the property. There was no roof top restaurant, bar or room service. I was given a 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen had no crockery, cutlery or cleaning equipment and the sink and tap area were not clean. The bathroom had towels that were old, stained, thin, small and of poor quality. There was no soap provided in the bathrooms. The bedrooms were adequate but again, there sheeting and covers were stained and main bed was very hard. There was no air...

"The rooms are clean and spacious enough - the floor was super slippery in the bedroom but not a major problem for us once aware. The property was very quiet and the garden pools area really nice, perfect to relax. We didn't try the food as we were meeting friends out etc. and the restaurant didn't seem open. "Bloomfield is a small boutique villa / hotel in Umalas that's close to some great cafes and food options and not too far from the hustle and bustle of Bali. The room was spacious and comfortable, minus the soundproofing. "When we booked this room, we had the choice between a double or a twin room. On arriving, we were advised that the room choice we chose only comes in twin (despite the website giving us an option for double). "The staff is nice and the hotel rooms are pretty spacious with all the essentials provided. Yet there's not much point in that because hot water kept quitting. First, they had a water heater issue for 2 days and cold water came out of both taps. Then they fixed it for a day and then the water stopped entirely. Very poor maintenance of the property. "Expedia booking showed free breakfast and reception desk agreed. However, I was later told I had to pay for breakfasts. I was given mouldy towels and linen. When housekeeping changed them, reception told me I had to pay for cleaning of mouldy towels and linen."

"I liked the traditional look and feel of the property, and the helpful staff. I disliked the fact that additional fees at the hotel could not be charged to the room (for which I paid by credit card) and added to the credit card charge, but had to be paid in cash in Indonesian currency, which created a difficult problem at the end of the stay."

"What a beautiful property! We had a villa and private pool. The rooms were an indoor outdoor set up so our bedrooms were indoors but the kitchen, living and bathrooms were outdoors. What a unique experience! Breakfast was made to order and they even accommodated us with some to go breakfasts. Walking distance there was not a ton of dining options but a short grab ride away there were lots of options. Highly recommend to stay at the property. "

"Maca Villas & Residences Umalas far exceeded our expectations. The location was a great quiet reprive from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. The hospitality and service was absolute perfection, everyone went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. The sister Maca resort has a fantastic restaurant Mase and access to the Sonham spa facilities. The front desk can arrange a free roundtrip shuttle to the spa and sister property restaurant. Highly recommend a day at the spa which comes complete with gym, exercise classes, hot tubs, sauna, stream room, cafe, and some of the best massages I've ever had. Our villa was always cleaned and serviced quickly. The enclosed glass doors were crucial for us to avoid bugs and creatures, you can also fully open the glass doors if you prefer the ourdoor feel. We visited in the height of rainy season and were grateful for a fully enclosed villa. Daily breakfast was always fast and fresh, the restaurant staff really went above and beyond to provide exceptional and friendly service.The resort provide a daily 1-way shuttle service to the surrounding areas. The shuttles are very comfortable SUV's. There are plenty of taxis available on ride sharing apps as well. Major thanks to Yoga and the team for making our stay exceptional. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back."

"Beautifully designed villa with a private pool, phenomenal vibe, lots of space, friendly staff, just minutes away from the beach and the main shopping strip, this is a real jem. My friends and family were very impressed with the villa, and I’m planning on a comeback in the near future. "
