"Lovely place to stay in Uluwatu right in the middle of everything. Easy to get around and walkable to a few restaurants and shops. Yoga offered on weekdays at the resort next door. They were able to upgrade me to a wooden cottage, which was lovely, but was located right next to the restaurant and therefore loud early morning and in the evenings. A pack of monkeys came through and though they caused some trouble, it was a really neat experience. "

"This place is very close (walking distance) to the Uluwattu temple, which is very convenient. Otherwise, I don't really recommend Uluwattu as the area is very touristy and overpriced. Access was a mission with 282 steps (yes we counted) and with the rain we had to wait for it to stop so we could venture out. "It is in the middle of no where, have to cross a very dirty and busy area to get there, once there there’s nothing close by and the lack of service like room service or any convenience doesn’t help. Our sheets had stains on them, on the second day we had no water, one of the bathroom door handle fell off (we couldn’t get in). The lights occasionally went off and things were rusting.
