"Great hotel with a nice breakfast buffet. Went during the off season so was good value and very quiet. Staff super friendly. Some facilities seem a bit dated and bathrooms are the typical Japanese plastic-y bathroom, which wasn’t expected for the Hilton. But still recommend it! Onsen has two pools, and the outdoor pool has a great view. Was surprised there wasn’t an outdoor pool. Definitely better onsens in Hokkaido, though still nice to have the option."

"Quiet and secluded with excellent staff and high end facilities (including a nice onsen setup). The included half-board meals were extensive and very good, and probably required given the relative lack of other options anywhere nearby in summer season. Feels like a private resort. If you are looking for an escape in Niseko this is a good option and the price is reasonable given the quality of the accommodation and of the dining."

"This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay, and took us around after we weren’t able to get a rental car. "You cannot ask better view and better price in Toyako area. Quiet, cozy, lake Toya and Mt. Yotei view from your room. Room is big, like a suite. Well maintained facilities, generous amenities. No problem to communicate in English, If you have a car, this is the best choice. Last fall, I stayed here and when I planned to come this area again I didn’t even check other hotel. It says everything."

"First time staying at the Setsumon and it by far has exceeded any accommodation I have stayed in at a ski resort. The apartment was very modern, spacious, comfortable bed and delightful staff. "Kira Kira is located downhill of the Hirafu Welcome Centre. Transportation is provided during arrival and departure to and from the Welcome Centre.
