I had a Hokkaido soft serve ice cream cone that will haunt me for the rest of my life ;) the staff were unbelievably responsive, and extremely friendly and patient with my six year old daughter. The onsen was beautiful and relaxing. We stayed off season the first two weeks of June and the place was empty - we had it to ourselves. "
