"Great stay at the Bristol Hotel. Made to feel welcome by the receptionist Marian who was also very helpful. The room was cozy with a lovely view of the river. Comfy double bed but we did find it a little small. The room was quiet and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel is in a great location for restaurant's and exploring the city. We would definitely stay here again. "

I had an early 7am appointment the next morning and requested the upgrade to facilitate the fridge for my yogurt so I could eat before leaving tbe hotel ( breakfast didn't open until 7am at the hotel). "Lovely old hotel in the midst of a major renovation. We were booked into a newly renovated room which was nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. There was some noise from renovations on weekdays but it was not particularly bothersome. The location is great - essentially equidistant between the Abbey and Roman Baths and the Circus and Royal Crescent. Buffet breakfast was very good and staff was inviting and helpful. Overall a very nice hotel. "
