"Our time at this resort was absolutely amazing! We were a little worried because of the mixed reviews but we had a great time. Some reviews said that the food was horrible, but keep in mind you are booking a fairly cheap all inclusive resort so you can't expect Michelin star dining. As not food critiques, we thought the food was great! We were worried because we saw in reviews that the all inclusive package doesn't actually include ALL food and drinks, however, everything is very well labelled...

"Christina at check in went above and beyond what I expect at a hotel check in. She gave lots of good advice. My room was very quiet and comfortable. The location is central, with several choices of restaurants within 200 metres. The hotel is located in the old part of town but I felt safe walking around at night. I will stay here on my return trips to Funchal."
