"Surrounded by nature. Stayed in the Westin Club part of the resort. Nice adults only area pool with a dedicated restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Staff is friendly and attentive. Nice options for food and drink. Beautiful beach that is not very busy."

"It as laid out very well and easy to find things. The house band was awesome and super friendly. The lack of English was surprising and the shows at night were almost entirely in Spanish. We would definitely recommend learning Spanish bf going. The beach is a surfing beach and rocky ( lava rock) not like the pitures. I fell and cut open both knees on a tour and the resort had alcohol , cotton and only little bandaides. My cuts were large so this was useless . I felt for a resort this was highly...

"Has an upscale very tropical feel. The front desk and concierge arranged airport transportation and excursions for us prior to our stay. Very personalized service throughout our stay. There is no TV on the premises. That was a down side for us, but if you really want to relax and unplug, it's probably a plus for most people."

"Wonderful stay at Refugio Lodge. Beds were comfy, rooms clean. Lodge is beautifully decorated. All of the staff I met were so gracious, kind and helpful. Augustin communicated with me via WhatsApp starting the day before my arrival to make sure everything went smoothly. He also provided detailed information on local restaurants and things to do and even arranged a driver for me to get to my next destination.
