"This hotel is in a great location, kept up impeccably well, and at a reasonable price (for Kyoto!). Rooms here are small (you’ll have to live out of your luggage) but the beds and bathrooms are perfect. My only issues were our basement room (we agreed to it to shave the cost, but if I went again I would have upgraded to a view) and the tv is not foreign-friendly. They have an Apple TV you can hook up your account to, but I was not able to get mine past some regional permissions so I depended on...
