"The Night potter wasn't helpful. Didn't give proper directions to get to the room. We arrived by 8 pm but the room wasn't ready which was okay as the lady receptionist was nice. She advised us the night potter would make up our room. We arrived later and check in with him. He just gave us the keys, didn't tell us where the room was. We proceed to wonder around trying to find our room. So we asked him on the way, he said take a left at the door and it is just there. And that he had told me...

"Great grounds and pleasant facilities. Large rooms with dog friendly access. Room provided was a little tired but very comfy. Great breakfast anf lovely staff."

"The hotel was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful. Booked a junior suite which was well worth it and it was a great room. You won’t be disappointed. Lots of space and very comfortable. Great location too, only 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was also really good. "

The room was comfortable and there are extras included bottled water and snacks Couple of bad points. £5 to park over night. The room still have a tub of fruit under the sofa bed not removed from a previous guest We stay in Bristol regularly and would use this hotel again "

"This old coaching Inn is full of history. The staff are amazing and the food is excellent. We have now stayed there three times and all were lovely."
