"When we arrived, we were told that they did not hold a booking for us, as Expedia had cancelled our booking!!. It took over 4 hours for the hotel, myself and a guy from Expedia in the USA to semi resolve the issue. The hotel were wonderful, Expedia were blatant liars as they told the hotel that they had informed us of the cancellation, and had booked us into another hotel. Shame on you Expedia!! As the hotel had restricted accommodation left for our visit, we had to rearrange via Expedia to stay in another hotel for part of our stay. Unlikely to be using Expedia again which is very unfortunate as we have used them on numerous occasions over the years."

"We really enjoyed our time at Stratton House. Room was nice, great views of the garden and a very, very comfortable bed! Close to town so you could walk in and some great pubs nearby."

"This is our go-to hotel for Cheltenham/Gloucester. Easy to get to, friendly staff, a pool and gym. The food on site is delicious. There are lots of options available, bar, restaurant, room service. Nice seating areas outside and lots of places to sit inside if you want to read or play board games. We use it as a home from home when we are visiting family in the area. Highly recommended."

"The Village Hotel is a great line of hotels! nice and unique yet modern design throughout. Restaurant has lovely food. Could be a bit cleaner, rooms were a little dusty. Otherwise, a great stay! Will be staying again!"

"This was a lovely hotel, with helpful and welcoming staff. We arrived a little late as the satnav ran out of charge, and the hotel was not well signposted, even though we stopped twice for directions. It was about 2040 when we arrived and restaurant service stopped at 2100, but reception rang through to say we were on our way and we enjoyed an excellent meal, most welcome after another 4 hour drive south down the M6 and M5 in heavy traffic. Room was reasonably spacious and adequate, lighting, TV, coffee etc, but best of all was the pool... best sized one I have seen in hotels, lovely steam room, sauna, and a jacuzzi over a bridge, giving extra round swim route. Staff in the spa very helpful. This hotel is not too far away from our home, less than 2 hours, and we will certainly go back there, using it as a base to explore the Cotswolds and the lovely towns nearby. The contrast to the one we stayed in going north, for about the same price, was really marked. "
