"Room was beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful when booking excursions, using the shuttle to get to town, and getting around the property especially in the rain. Food at the hotel was good but it's also close to town and you can get good food while out. Spa was great."

"My girlfriend and I stayed at this awesome hotel at the base of Volcano Arenal. Our check in was super easy and the office staff was friendly and helpful. The bartender, Jose, provided conversation and incredible drinks. Our hotel room was clean, food was good. Views and hot springs were perfect. We would love to stay here again."

"We thought the property was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The dogs and cats were super nice and loving as well. The ambience was truly wonderful. It was a bit difficult to find staff at times and we never found the pool- but we were gone during the day and the darkness sets in around 6 pm. "We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment at the back of the property on the second floor. The room was updated and clean. Walking distance to restaurants. It is attached to a convenience store for beer, snacks and alcohol. Pool was clean. Also has a whole bar area that you can leverage by the pool. Property can be a little noisy in the morning when everyone is going to work since it is located directly on the main road to La Fortuna."

"Beautiful place to stay! Comfortable and the staff were all friendly. The only problem was the dogs barking for hours on end. They were likely the neighbors packs of dogs but could still be heard quite loudly which was annoying. The last night the sweet little dog at the hotel started in with them around 3:30 am waking us up. "

"If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options).
