"The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was very good, but the service is a little bit slow so take that into consideration for timing. We booked all our excursions through the hotel and they were all wonderful and as advertised. The location of the hotel is Central for all the excursions. Nothing was more than 25 minutes away. "This is our second time staying at arenal paraiso. It is right in the middle between fortuna and arenal, great location. For the price you cannot beat the property with hot springs, individual cabins and free breakfast. The restaurant is ok…but there are amazing food options convenient nearby. "

"We stayed in Villa #1 which is a 2 bedroom suite. It is perfect. The weather was not so great for the two days we stayed, but we still enjoyed the place very well because of the beauty of the villa and the surroundings. We saw a lot of birds, a big family of peccaries, and two coatis. We went to Mistico park early in the morning before the tourist traffic picked up. It was so peaceful.
